What is Nyxqen?
Nyxqen is a curated discovery platform for people looking for genuine, intentional connections. Profiles are reviewed, access is controlled, and safety is a core feature.
How does verification work?
When you sign up as a verified member, you submit your profile and verification links (social media, platform handles). Our team reviews your profile for authenticity before making it visible.
Why is a subscription required?
The subscription ensures serious intent, reduces spam, and protects the experience of every member. It grants platform access — discovery, waves, and messaging after a mutual match.
How do matches work?
When two people wave at each other, a match is created and a conversation opens. Messaging is only available after a mutual match.
Can I block someone?
Yes. Blocking is immediate and permanent until you unblock. Blocked users cannot see your profile, send waves, or message you.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings and click "Manage subscription" to access the Stripe billing portal. You can cancel, update payment, or view invoices.
Is my data safe?
All data is stored in an enterprise Postgres database with row-level security and encrypted storage. Moderation notes are never exposed to regular users. See our privacy policy for full details.
