Privacy Policy

Account data (email, display name, profile photos, bio), identity verification assets (submitted for role approval, reviewed by moderators), usage data (waves sent, matches, messages), and payment data processed by Stripe — we never store your card details. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and debugging.

To run the service: show your profile, match you with compatible people, enable messaging. To keep it safe: moderate photos and profiles, investigate reports, enforce community standards. To improve it: analyze anonymized usage patterns. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Other members see your public profile, approved photos, and messages you send them. Moderators can view profiles, verification assets, and flagged content as part of the review process. Stripe processes payments and operates under its own privacy policy. No one else.

All data is stored in PostgreSQL with row-level security — each query is scoped to the authenticated user. Photos are stored in access-controlled object storage. All connections use HTTPS. We rotate credentials regularly and maintain an audit log of administrative actions.

You can view and edit your profile at any time through the app. To request a full export of your data or permanent account deletion (including all messages and photos), email support@nyxqen.com. We will process requests within 30 days.

We use session cookies to keep you signed in and PKCE tokens for OAuth flows. No third-party tracking cookies. No advertising pixels.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice before taking effect.
